Pink Floyd Love

My Pink Floyd inspired mini book was featured in an Etsy treasury called, "Does anybody really know what time it is?" A treasury dedicated to "TIME".

I spent a few days this week volunteering at church and helping them get ready for a leadership conference that took place today. I'm always up for anything involving scissors and glue. I made centerpieces for 18 tables, Cinco De Mayo themed! It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday, my Newspaper Mini Book was featured in it's 3rd Etsy Treasury called, "Extra Extra Read All About It." It's a beautiful treasury and it features a few handbags, one of them from a seller Leyyabags. She is a seller from Istanbul, Turkey. I checked out her shop, and I found the cutest handbags I've ever seen! I could NOT resist and I ended up buying TWO of her handmade bags. They are so unique, I couldn't decide which one I liked best so I got them both. Handbags are my WEAKNESS! I can't wait until I receive these in the mail. Celebration of the Arts

I have a craft show coming up in May and I've been spending a lot of time making mini books. It's a "Celebration of the Arts" show where I'll have my own vendor booth area. I've never done a show before but I'm excited about it! Since most of the books in my shop are for weddings, I decided to make the mini books so that I can appeal to all ages and occasions. So, I've been making about 2 or 3 a day for the past couple weeks. I figured it would be smart to offer books that are cute and cheap! ($12-$14) You can see them all in my Etsy Shop ;-)

About Me

My name is Lora, I live with my husband and our two cats in Lancaster, PA. It's beautiful Amish country with rolling green hills and gorgeous skies. We absolutely love it!

We got married on 10/10/10. We both grew up in Arizona but right after our honeymoon, my husband got this amazing job opportunity in Lancaster, so we packed up and moved across country to a home that we bought online (had never seen in person) and to a new part of the country we had never been. And guess what? WE LOVE IT!

I'm a house wife, and when I'm not folding hubbies socks, I like to read, crochet, sew, and make coptic stitch books. When you order from my shop, you are getting something handmade and it will be unlike anything you can get in a store.

Fresh Start

I have a personal blog website:
But, I decided to start this new blog specifically for things dealing with craftiness, so here it goes!
